You will gain theoretical knowledge in the field of sports medicine and practical skills of planning an optimal nutritional system in such a way that the percentage composition of the body mass is conducive to the improvement of physical fitness, including the speed and endurance of the body. You will gain the ability to implement the principles of a healthy lifestyle, to develop and maintain a diet of competitive athletes practicing various sports disciplines. You will also learn to prepare physically active people to regenerate the body after exercise. As a graduate, you will have a wealth of knowledge in the field of physical exercise physiology, methods of testing the body’s efficiency and the principles of nutrition. You will be able to support the athletes’ training process in terms of increasing muscle strength and mass, improving all motor skills, including endurance or speed. You will know how to accurately assess the nutritional status, methods and styles of nutrition, and you will differentiate diets due to inter-individual differences resulting from the type of body build and individual physiological predispositions. You will also learn the principles of nutritional and supplementary support of the body’s efficiency and you will gain valuable dietary competences.
